this guy and i have had this thing for a while now, and he used to like me (it's basically proven.. i mean big, major signs) but he's really shy and we haven't talked for so long... and i don't know whats going on. i've noticed that whenever he sees me, he gets kind of tense... and kind of freezes up. My friend says he gets really nervous when she says my name. He'll stare and listen to me closely, but when i try to initiate eye contact, he'll turn his head away from me immediately. . . once in a while, he'll keep eye contact for a while, and theres look in his eye that makes me melt... but i don't know what it is. i know it's hard to tell since we haven't talked for so long, but do you think he still has feelings for me?

Yes. It seems jumbled and complex but he still has feelings for you. My guess is that the length of time you didnt talk was long and it makes, maybe both of you uncomfortable or unsure but YES, feelings are still there. If he's that shy, take it slow, don't be too agressive but give him major hints and encouragement. And make sure that you guys keep that communication flowing this time.

The question is what are you doing? You must really like tormenting this poor guy or love the attention. I have no clue why you don't just put the guy outta his misery. This thing you guys have what exactly is it? Is it the thing were he looks at you all lovingly and you eat it up or the thing were his looks of affection are returned. I think you need to stop gettin off on some poor dudes obvious attraction for you and help the guy out or distance yourself from him. Me and my guy friends have a word that describes what you are if you have tough skin instant message me and I will tell you what it is.....

Sounds like he is shy and maybe decreased self-confidence. From what you say, he sounds like he is interested. Maybe he was so shy he decided to back off for fear of rejection. Guys are just as insecure as women. If this "thing" has been going on for a while, it may be time to ask him if he wants it to continue as a friendship or kick it up to the next level. Call him. It may be easier on the phone than in person.

Try to understand him by his body language.
Understand what's going on his head before you decide anything.
