Whenever there is a complaint about sex, profanity, drugs, violence, etc. to be made, the complainant always seems to have great knowledge of the incident/TV programme/ question on YA, etc that caused offence. Obviously, these people continue to expose themselves to material they find offensive way past the point they realised it was animal porn/snuff movie etc. rather than Wogan or "Songs of Praise".

Now personally, I would not go to church because I would find the activities there to be sanctimonious, preachy and dull - at best - and should I accidentally tune in to "Songs of Praise" I would change channel. If I instead were to sit through the whole programme, I would not expect any sympathy if I found it to come across a bit holier than thou.

So are these complainers just too thick to realise that "The Helmet Rides Again" is not going to turn into a war epic after the fifth nob gag and second gratuitous tittie shot, or are they just closet perverts protesting too much?

There is no chance that they can't be both.

I think they are both... i.e. stupid closet perverts. It's probably their way of confessing to what they believe is a sin.

If I had to complain about a show, I would complain about the first thing that caused offence but I wouldn't continue watching. Thats just daft. No wait, thats just Stupid.

If I found the sight of a womans breasts on telly to be offensive, I wouldn't wait until I could tell you how many times I saw them, I'd turn over, to continue watching the show for the sake of the chesticles, whether counting or oggling, would be considered by some to be perverted.

I would then be a Stupid Perv.

I'd then put myself in the closet by coimplaining about it, that would make me a stupid closet perv.

there are several types of moral crusaders, sure some people are nieve but there is always the person that will call others to draw attention away from themselves

this is where the saying 'evil happens when good men say nothing' comes from, you should still speak out and those listening should keep an open mind rather than judging you

That is either a rhetorical question and also displays the fallacy of false alternatives. Open your mind--you don't have to change it, just don't close it.

I know this guy who claims to hate homosexuality, but he knows an awful lot about it. Makes me wonder, too.
