i can take 10 -15 min breaks every 2 hours or so.
i just usually sit there in front of a screen.
i don't want to quit.
i just need some brain stimulation, any suggestions?

Exercise. If you work out late there is noway in hell you will be able to fall asleep for awhile, it'll get your heart pumping. Eating an apple can also help you stay awake for a little while longer due to the sugars in them.

Get puzzled. Crosswords, search a words, soduko, cryptoquip.....etc......it will make you smarter and you will stay wonder full too. Of course as long as your workplace allows it, if you dont work in an area where you have to act like you are doing something even if you are not like many of us do. Some people have to be or look busy almost all the time. Then you have to be an actor in your spare time. lol

What I do to stay awake at night is I play video games, listen to rock music (Green Day), or maybe I might even watch a movie. (Might be hard for U...) but I usually play video games A LOT!

I'm in your situation. Here's the things I do at work to stay awake :
- going to yahoo answers (easy one)
- creating my cat's blog (silly one)
- writing a short story, then another one...
- writing a scenario for a short movie
- writing emails to friends
- looking for ideas and advices for my wedding next year :o)
- looking for ideas and advices for honey moon next year :o)

surf the net. a good way of breaking job monotony is to answer emails in between work or just look for information from net.
