Last nite, my bf and i talked on the phone for like 4 hrs b/c i am going camping this weekend and we wouldnt see each other.
well, when his mom (we r teenz) made him get off he either said "I ♥ U," or "I'll miss you"
he mumbled, so I couldn't tell. I decided not to take my chances, and said "I'll miss you too"
I feel really bad about now, b/c I think he said "I ♥ u......"
It would take a lot of courage to do that, and I don't want him to feel like i rejected it!?
Did i make myself seem like a BIG IDIOT

Please be nice

Nope... it'll be fine....You didn't sound like an idiot at all.. you may have misheard what he said but you did respond appropriatley- I'm sure you will miss him and you were right to tell him you would too,.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and my guess is that if he missed you as much you missed him then if he does love you, he will tell you the next time he sees you. Then thats when you respond with I love you too.

Sounds like quite an intense relationship you two have going anyway, so it wouldn't surprise me if he did love you lots :-)

Good luck.

Don't you just hate this sort of thing? Ugh! I've been there. You don't want to make a BIGGER idiot out of yourself by calling attention to it if he DIDN'T say it......what a catch-22. Honestly, I think you should just leave it alone. DO you love him? If so, then you have a thousand more chances to say it and show it, right? Examine your feelings, though, because this is a big step in a relationship---and you don't want to say it if you don't really mean it. If you DO mean it, why wait for HIM to say it anyway? You should express it if you feel it, regardless of what he does. Too many people play games in relationships----be the one to take charge and say what you feel. Then you're in power and can be responsible for your own outcomes. You'd be amazed how good that makes you feel. Good luck!

wow ive done the same thing.(me and my bf are teenz 2) the next time he says it (if he does which is likely knowing most guys,) say the right thing, or be the one that says it first. if he emails or IM's ur friends tlk to them and see if he mentioned anything about it.

Well. I think you might have embaressed yourselt, but only a teeeniee weeeniee bit. Just rememebr that if he says sumthing at the end that you dont understand, just reply with a simple "Me Too"...that way, it will be suitable enough for both the sentences.
:)

No I don't think so I think that telling him that you love him was so sweet I do hope that he got your message, that would make him feel very good, even though he will miss you.

Idot- what is Idot. You misspelled idiot, and you are asking us if you are an idiot. Um, yes, you are an idiot. And then Grasshoppa spells it indiot. Help me, people.

To your question, damn, I haven't heard anyone say I love you or I miss you in so long, that I would take either one of those happily.

No, not at all. If he was really nervous he might be glad you miss heard him. If he does love you he will tell you again eventually...and you'll get a second chance to say it to him if you want to....don't worry!

You gave a good enough answer regardless. My prediction is that absence will make the heart grow fonder.

Certainly not..... if he was sure of what he is doing he would again get back BOLDLY to you... rather than mumbling.... so relax and wait for the time ;)

Cheers
