What did you do with your infants bottles once they stopped using them? Would it be taboo to give them to another mother if they were nice bottles and gently used? Or should I toss them?

I tossed mine just because they were in no shape to give to someone else. I used and re-used mine through three kids, the next one born not long after the older one was to come off the bottle. If they are in good shape, then a mother would be very happy to get them. Just keep in mind though, giving someone something can be like playing choose in the dark, some are offended by the thought of getting "hand me downs'

That is a very nice gesture. I would just give them to the other mother without the nipples. You could pack the nipples up after sterilizing them and save them in case you do have another child or just toss them. But bottles can be very expensive especially the nice ones so either pass them on or save them. have a great day!

toss them
It is very nice that you think of other mothers but I wouldn't want someone elses bottles as a new mom
But there are people that do need them maybe you can donate them to the salvation army

I was given a bag full of bottles when I was pregnant (even though I started off breastfeeding), it was one less expense and I was so grateful for them. I knew the person that had used them before was thorough with sterilising them and they were all in good condition, although I did replace all the teats.

Give them to someone who will appreciate them.

You could give them to another mother. Just throw out the nipples. Bottles can be sterilized no problem. I am sure another mother would appreciate them.

I always tossed mine. but you could give them to another mother if you replace the nipples on all of them first.

I think handing them on is a lovely idea as the teats can be easily replaced and knowing how expensive they are, someone else could really appreciate the gesture.

Thats a good idea to pass them on to another mother if she wants them, why waste, if she doesn't save them you might have other children

Recycle them!!!

We kept one bottle to use as a measuring device for cooking. Other than that... take them to the nearest recycling drop off and let your city reuse the plastic. :) Much better than looking... erm... tacky. ;)

Good luck!
