I dont think that its Irritable Bowel- i think that it could be Crohns Disease or Ileitis (inflammation of the small bowel, you don't get bloody stools with IBS). The only way to make the diagnosis is with a colonoscopy by a Gastro Dr. medication can help you get under control. good Luck

Sounds a lot like IBS or irritable bowel syndrome ... Ivillage.com has a spot on their site to check your symptoms based on you answering a series of yes a no questions to determine a possibility for what your condition may be. After doing the survey they offer to help you print the results so that you may take them to your medical doctor as an aid for your doctor to find you the current form of care.... I may uncertain ... but it maybe even be a kidney problem. Either way go to the doctor blood coming out of any orfice is never a good thing.

Sounds consistent with IBS aka Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Go back to your doc and ask if this could possibly be what is going on as there are medications out there for that. If the doc won't keep testing to find out what is going on then go to a gastroenterologist and get a definate diagnosis.

I was just in the hospital for something similar to that...I had constipation, hard stools, a swollen stomach and cramps. My blood was in my urine though. I also had protein spilling in my urine so that is also a possibility with you...idk. With my stomach...there was a bunch of fluid in it...3 liters and I had to get it removed...I looked like I was 5 months pregnant. I also had very bad cramps in my stomach...you need to go to the hospital. They checked me for a lot of diseases and I just foiund out that I have to get my gallbladder removed because it is bad. The doc think that I might have Chron's Disease, Lime Disease or Parasites...but they havent gotten the results back yet. You should definetly go to the hospital especially if your stomach is really swollen.
