I know this is simply a joke...but, why not focus on the relationship, communicate, understand, grow so the wife doesn't feel the desire to 'shout'. How many 'jokes' are heard of "I opened the door and my wife smiled at me, stepped in through door then embraced me. And...no...that last scenario is not a joke. If attentiveness is brought to a relationship...it's a reality. Personally I feel jokes as this promotes the thinking that a healthy relationship is not to be expected after being together a number of years. And...yes, I do have a sense of humor.

Best thing to do is to throw the key out of the window for the misses then go to the back door put dog on a lead and go for nice long quiet walk.
Maybe stop off for a pint or 2 at pub settle your nerves.

Would have been hard for me to tell the difference. Both of them were expensive, pampered b i t c h e s who ate, watched television and f u c k e d anything going. I tell you what, though - I miss that dog.
