In home daycare, cosmetic sales, jewelry sales. Don't get caught up in the get rich quick schemes. You are not going to make a lot of money out of any of the above mentioned, but you can do this from home. When I was first divorced, I had two small children that required daycare, but I couldn't find a job that I could make enough money to pay daycare costs and provide for my children. I had no choice but to take a job in a factory until I could come up with a better alternative. The job sucked but the pay was great. Once, I got on my feet, I went back to college, and I am now a successful business owner (not out of my home either). Don't use your situation as a crutch! If I can do it, anyone can, it will just take a lot of hardwork and determination to give your kids a better life.

Hi, as a single mum you can get a job and claim Working Tax Credits, this will basically help you cover the cost of childcare and rent.
The extra income won't be huge but it'll do wonders for you to get out the house and be more than a mom again. Call it a stepping stone because the longer your out of work the harder it'll be to get back into it.
This only really applies though if you want to get out to work. If not then I wholly agree with the childminding idea.

Being a single mom myself, I found it difficult to work and also go to college. However, one must make sacrifices and do what is going to make a better life for the children. I do not know any single mom that would not love to stay home and raise her children. However, sometimes this is not possible. So we must sacrifice and do what is right and sometimes unpopular. Get a job, it is not the time you spend with them but what you do with the time you spend with them. I speak from experience with one child a college graduate and one in college and two in junior high school. I have held a full time job their entire lives. In the bible it says a man who does not work does not eat! God bless****

there a a couple of things / however they take a little investment of your time. You can get financial help for the schooling from government funding. I know two people doing medical billing and they make good money from home. If you can get someone to take you on to learn the mortgage business it can be done completely from home as well.

Im a single mum to a 7 year old and a 16 month old, it is hard but you can work.
I work 16 hours a week so I get tax credits (family and working) my eldest is at school and my youngest is at nursery. I get 80% nursery fees paid via tax credits. It is very hard I totally understand......but it can be done. good luck x

Try to buy and sell on E-bay?
Dog walking service?
Pet sitting?
If you are creative - how about making and selling your own jewellery?
Bettaware?
Body Shop parties?
If you have a genuine love of children and the time and devotion to making a difference - what about fostering? Childminding?
Good luck.

You could try a day care center. You sound like youve got experience seeing as you can handle children as a single mother. You also could do a catering business if your food inclined, or a tutoring job.
-Hope this helps!
