Mother tongue is the native language that you speak. I would consider learning my partner's mother tongue. This gives us an even greater connection as we would have a 'secret' language amongst other friends and we could flirt in even more ways. Learning a new language not only allows us to be more versatile in where we live but allows us to express our love in so many more ways. It shows that you really care about the person as you want to learn their language.

First of all Becuz I love u and want to impress u and ur family showing how much I care about ur culture and traditions. Secondly to make sure u r not talking bad about me behind my back including to surprise those family members of urs who don't like me. I would love to see the shock on their face when I answered them or spoke to them in their native tongue. But stick to number one that's the main and best reason.

I would. I think it's important to know at least a few things in your significant other's language. It definately helps with the in-laws and it's something nice to teach your kids as well
