well, it's not just foreigners, asylum seekers in particular. where i live the police bust so many illegal drivers and they're never english/britsh apart from the young joy riders. the people killing pedestrians on our streets seem to be many african drivers in my area' all in really old hondas..preludes, accords and rover 214's...
i'm of mixed heritage and my g'f is. so don't think about the race card!!!

Week after week they are in our local paper - immigrants caught driving with no license, insurance, tax or MOT. It makes me furious that the court fines them £80.00 and gives them 6 points on a license they haven't even got. Wheres the deterrent ??? My daughter paid £800 for her insurance when she was young - she would never have thought have driving without it because she has a conscience - these people don't. What we need is harsher sentencing or better still a ruling which says asylum seekers convicted of anything in the first year here get deported - then we don't have them stuck in our prisons paid for with tax payers money xx
To all you who are saying this is racist - I don't see it. Maybe you dont live in an area affected by these drivers. I live near Harlington where many asylum seekers are housed awaiting decision and its a real problem here. Wait until you or someone close to you are hit by one of these people and tell me what you think then !!!!

I am British citizen now for many years (my husband is English), I kind of agree with you, We went to London several weeks ago, and time we going there, we see more and more bad drivers and rude as well, and unfortunately, they are all seems foreigners , some are with Europe number plate (I am not white myself). I was foreign citizen once, but I know my place, I experieced the same thing in country origin, there are a lot of foreigners settling there -perhaps a lot more than in here, and I know how you feel when they just not obey the law, rude and ignore the country traditions. I thing the racial problem will be bigger and bigger the next 20 years, unless the government stop accepting the asylum seeker soon. British economy is not strong enough to bailed out millions of them.

The problem is that these asylum seekers come over here,scrounge off our country,openly disobey are laws and when they get caught they claim they are being victamised.
The on ly way to get them to respect our people and country is the fear factor.
If you send them back when they break the law there friends will think again before commiting the same crime.

And then there are these Polish guys who come over here and do a great job in the building trade and driving buses while so many Brazilians are keeping our offices clean. I mean what is with these guys doing a decent days work in jobs that so many bone idle Brits won't get off their a**es for because it's too hard. Really these immigrant types are going to make us look really lazy and when we complain on the basis of unfounded rumour, tabloid style statistics and "God's honest bloke down the pub told me so" truths we get called bigotted and foolish I mean whats with that?
BTW despite your double bluff of mixed heritage your comments still have that oh so bitter taste of racism to them.

Before you sound off about asylum seekers, think about what the words mean. They are often escaping torture and death in their own country (from militia which has had arms supplied by the UK) and they need our help. Do some research.

Being bi-racial doesn't exclude a person from being racist. This isn't a general question it's a race related one and it's singling out Africans as the worst drivers in England. I watch documentaries and I've seen videos where it's the anglos who are doing the hit and runs and crashes etc. EVERY ethnic group have irresponsible drivers. And you did use the race card.
