When I find myself doing this I'll stop and say "ok...now what's eating you?" because many times it isn't what you're eating, it's what's eating you...and if you find the source you can deal with it in a more productive way. Try meditation..taking a walk...program your mind to do something else instead of eating. The sooner you deprogram it, the sooner it's under control for good.

I have this problem. Actually just recently, I had an argument with my Mom & I started eating EVERYTHING that came my way.

What I do, is I just occupy myself with something else. Like getting online. Because if you watch TV, it almost 'makes' you want to eat.

But, when your on the computer your hands are busy with the mouse & the keyboard so you don't have much time to eat.

Good luck

I'm still battling it with my mind... And I often try to listen to my stomach rather than my mouth... really. A lot of things are really happening in my life over emotional eating but I'll never give up battling over it because if others can lose tons of weight, why can't I?
