I see many people spending hours in chat rooms to attract women for friendship (rarely) and for sex. I wonder, will that really work out? How a woman will be a friend or sex partner without seeing him and being with him? I feel, those guys are wasting their time. What you think?

Occasionally, when I feel lonely, I used to visit yahoo chat rooms to find a good companion (esp girls). I feel good talking with loving caring girls. But in those chat rooms most of them (99% - just a guess) where men discusing only about sex. After spending many hours, I log out of the internet feeling more lonely and troubled :(.

These guys are really sick. I met some of them. Some would even propose to marry me after two or more chats! Some offered to fly to my country, or to change his religion for me, thinking I`d buy all this crap. I got sick of those guys who are unfortunately 90% of the males on the chat rooms. So I quit chatting. I think they need psychotherapy or something!!

Its just a tool to meet people. I don't necessarily condone it, but I don't see the harm either, except if they are doing it INSTEAD of forming normal, healthy relationships.

On another note, maybe these fellows are a bit shy, and are able to communicate more comfortably on the chat better than face to face.

I feel trying to meet people who are familiar to you only online is dangerous. The person who you're chatting with could be of the bad sort (you know what I mean). You never know.

Those people are not merely wasting their time, clearly, they have malicious intentions.

I THINK chatting on net is on borderline may be harmless or not that depends on you how to deal with it . you can interact by sharing your good ideas with them.

i personally think that doing that is the right thing to do. But people do it anyway.....i dont think it is healthy to invest your time in something you cant feel, touch, see, or smell.
