I like answers and browse them quite a lot. I have gained some real knowledge from some of them. There are those that are so far off the mark, stupid, rude or insulting and you must use common sense in what you take note of.
I answer quite a few but only if I know the real answer. Some are asking for opinions and this, once you have sorted though the pathetic attempts at humour, are interesting.

Anyone who asks a genuine health question should know that they will only get life experience answers and that they should check with a medical professional as well, some questions i have asked was just for reassurance is i had a genuine serious problem i would go to my GP people who use the site should be warned of this too

I blame an overly oppressive society. In our desire to become more and more politcally correct and tolerant we have created more and more rules that impinge upon our freedom of thought and speech. The attempted conditioning of individuals causes in some cases a retaliation of the soul which manifests itself in an increasingly outrageous fashion. Embrace such outlandish and freakish behaviour as that is true tolerance it is merely a reflection of the hideousness of the 21st centuary.

Well, that's the problem with a forum like this. You don't know really who is answering, what their experience and expertise really is. I wish people would educate themselves better - because some of the questions are fairly basic. Otherwise, they should be getting info from their doctor, nurse, pharmacist, nutritionist, etc.

Because we live in a contraceptive culture that activley discourages women understanding their own bodies. We also live in an abortion society that has a double standard over the human nature and life of the unborn child.

Because you're asking people with no specialisation in the field their answering questions on. I don't think anyone would suggest that Yahoo Answers was a suitable replacement for sound expert advice.

Totally agree the site should be split into two - one for the kids and one for more responsible people. I have banned my daughter from this site it is not moderated well at all sometimes its more like a porno site where people are getting off on it.

Why is this in pregnancy & parenting? Lol, bet I get abuse for that!
I have given silly answers to some peoples questions...obviously not to be taken seriously, but it seems some people are void of humour!

It's not the answerers who are dangerous. It's the brain-dead, moronic twats who wouldn't recognise irony if it leapt up and gave them a haircut who are dangerous!
