Think of a song or piece of music you both remember listening to when you first met and decide on the one you both feel you would like to dance to. Have a lovely wedding and many happy years together.

You and your fiancé may not want to dance to this song but it would be a great gift to your parents. Go to fairplaymusicalgifts.com and you can download a song called For the Parents of the Bride for free or you can contact them and buy the CD with a personalized cover for about $15.00

Depends what sort of thing you're into and whether you want something 'traditional' or different.
My husband and I didn't have a first dance as such but we chose U2 All I want is you as we walked down the isle and Lou Reed Perfect Day as we signed the register (and then had to pretend to sign it again for the photos!) - they were songs that were quite special to us for various reasons and reminded us of some really cool times/moments.
The other option is to drink so much champagne you won't give a crap what they play by that stage!
Good luck for your big day!

Why don't you just have your favourite song and do your own style dancing? Who says you have to have a slow dance...
My fiance wants Firestarter by Prodigy but he's got no chance, I wanted Never Be Lonely by Feeling, We came across I'll be There - Mariah Carey's version with Trey Lorenz (The Jackson Five do a version but Mariahs is more fitting).
It took us 3 months to come up with that one. Good luck, I'm still looking for a ceremony song (civil service)....Yikes.

We departed from traditional and used Savage Gardens I knew I Loved you and Truly Madly and also Sarah Evans I could not Ask for anything More.
All good songs and can be used anywhere. Its your special time so, do what feels good and right for you and your husband. Nothing says it all has to be the old tried and true wedding march and all that. Make it special, use your specials songs.

My choice would have to be 'love you for life' by Jodeci. Smoochy romantic without being slushy.
Or 'Lets get married' by Jagged Edge, the original, not the upbeat version, although that would make an interesting first dance!
Have a good day!!

The Thank you song Led Zepplin
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.
Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.
Little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.
My love is strong, with you there is no wrong,
together we shall go until we die. My, my, my.
An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.
And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,
Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.
Happiness, no more be sad, happiness....I'm glad.
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.
