I'm trying to find a song that is romantic but not overly so, something kind of unusual, I've had a look on wedding CD's and things but can anyone think of a song that would be interesting? My husband to be is a little worried of the classic mushy song and I was hoping to find something with a bit of a difference that we can both enjoy! Any help?

My fiancee and I are having Your Song - but the Moulin Rouge version. It means a lot to us, and I think you should both find a song that means something to you. I will e-mail you this version if you like. It's really upbeat, got the right words, very dramatic music, but not mushy at all...........and it's great for a first dance!

why don't you try "looking through the eyes of love" im sure both of you will enjoy dancing to this. or if you want contemporary songs... i recommend "tattooed on my mind". this one's upbeat but you can still slow dance to it. the message is really nice and it doesn't have the mushy feel your husband to-be is afraid of... :) God bless you both!

We had Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton.

Friends of ours had Metallica - Nothing Else Matters.

Lavender - Marillion is what we wish we had had now.
