Then, better social policy and giving more economic power to women (equal payment, equal opportunities in hiring and education.)

Raising the kids in different system of values. Father can clean the house too and mother can have a better salary. Nothing is wrong with that.

the established technique to sparkling up inequalities is to numerically/algebraically eliminate the inappropriate information. And of there are better than one inequality, combine the outcomes. So, as an get mutually: 6*genders > 12 (or equivalent to), now divide by 6 on each and every aspect of equality. This yields genders > 2 yet, the different key inequality in this get mutually is genders^2 < 4 (or equivalent to). Taking the sq. root of each and every aspect of this inequality yields: -2 (or equivalent to) < genders < 2 (or equivalent to). be conscious that the intersection of those 2 inequalities is: genders = 2.

In order to be treated equal, we must be willing to do equal duties.

In my management role, rarely does a guy call in because his kids are sick, he never asks for more than a couple days off for a new baby, the guys will come in at 6 and leave at 10. Very, very few women have ever given this level of devotion to their jobs.

And I'm not saying the women are wrong to put their kids first, they should. But to expect an employer to treat you the same, but then demand special privileges is just short-sighted.

I was one of those women who was able to work 20 hour days, swear like a sailor, not be offended by a calender with bikini's and my employers all knew my career was very important in my life. I always end up one of the highest compensated employees because I work for companies that base my pay on my efforts.

In order to be taken seriously in the business world, women have to start putting their jobs first, and lightening up around work.

I really haven't found gender "inequality", in fact, I have found that most companies are very understanding of their working mothers and allow them much more flexibility than their male workers. In fact, men should be complaining because if they missed the amount of work that some women do, they would be canned in a heartbeat.

There is an issue most countries ignore. Women raise the next generation, female or male, so helping them with childcare and making housework easier is a social planning issue, rather than women's personal concern. How many workplaces have good childcare centers? How much slack do they cut for women's family related work? And of course, how many men really spare time for housework and children? Women can't just abandon their responsibilities to their children, but I don't see the same senstivity in lots of men. Just look at the answers in woman-related topics. I think the new equality slogan must be, "Help women work!" We need new systems that will decrease the time women spend for housework and that will help them with childcare.

Gem, I don't believe you are saying something so stupid!!! Who do you think you are? How can you blame women for not sharing the same responsibilities when women are forced to neglect their jobs and professions because someone MUST take care about children and men are still not willing to share the equal part of a parenthood. You are putting yourself in an inferior position by oiling your tongue to pick points from men. And probably from your superiors. It is sad!

We must take into account that women experience gender inequality differently. In the western world it might be sexual harrassment in the workplace and in third world countries it might be women's subordination at home.the best solution is to locate each problem in context.

Attend girls high school and women collegiate sports.
