There are plenty of good book available on that subject. There is a good book for beginners called "Investing for Dummies". There are various books on asset allocation. "All About Asset Allocation" is a good one. A good book of fundamental analysis is "Secuirty Analysis" by Graham and Dodd. Then there is "Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets" by John Murphy. There are many others also.
