Chris i really think you are a helmet. There is no way you will win it within the next ten years. If it was not for Steven "i want to leave" Gerrard you would not have won that year anyway. By the way good result against the mighty Gooners 3-0 are you really looking like Euro Champs......i think not.

Is this a trick question? I have no objections to Liverpool FC but after 2 years of maverick winners lets hope some semblance of normality returns. My bet would be on La Juve, they are strong in every department. Barcelona for all their attacking prowess have a soft underbelly in defense. If Chelsea managed to overcome them in the Camp Nou, they will take some stopping. But their are others who are getting better, Olympique Lyonnais is one and Internazionale the other. And between Milan and Bayern, you have a team that knows what it takes to win Europe's top prize. The best team doesn't necessarily win, it's the team that produces the best performance over 2 legs and in the one off Final. That's how Porto and Liverpool did it. Having said all that, I can't see a repetition of the last 2 finals.

You put Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal...before Liverpool because you expect them to win. Well, it is more fun for a team like Liverpool to surprise everyone yet again.

Some of the english players in Liverpool who've played for the National team believe that they did poorly in the last worldcup. So now they feel obliged to do their best to win the champions trophy and bring it back to England once again!

Well firstly Barca arent even through yet, they havent been that impressive this year. Man Utd could do it but I think the Premiership will take most of their concentration so they will let Europe go this year. Chelsea could also do it as their squad is massive, but they also havent looked that good in Europe this season.
What noone has considered is that Liverpool's style of football is much more effective in Europe than it is in the premiership, alot of their forien players have big reputations from previous european club performances that they dont aways show in England, however in the european games Liverpool have a superb record, last year they were unbeaten in 16 game I think before they were knocked out, and once again this season they have only drawn one game in europe and won the rest. No other english club can say the same.
I guess we will have to wait and see, but everyone wrote off their chances in 2005 but look who won it for the 5th time!!!!
When was the last time any of the English clubs won the Champions league, quite a while, I think Rafa will bring it home to its rightful place once again and Gerrard will get the World Player of the Year as he should have in 05

Come come, you a Spurs fan suggesting Arsenal will win the CL? What has happened to good old fashioned rivalry?
What have Liverpool done to suggest they won't win it again? 5 times Champions ahead of everyone else, bar Milan and Madrid.
Of course Man Utd will again, as will Barcelona for their 3rd. Lyon look good for one as well.
And of course Chelsea, who cherish this trophy above all.
But you write Liverpool off at your own peril. And Arsenal, I have always said will not win the CL for another 50 years. In fact I don't think they will win one in my lifetime, and I intend to live to a ripe old age.

Unfortunately there are some sad dillusional people who have been released into the community far too early.
Most live in Liverpool but there are reports that one is living and working in London and claiming to hail from Portugal. He apparently thinks he is god and has a number of disciples but cannot decide on the best combination.

Because Liverpool are a HUGE club, absolutely massive…..ok, so there's a team in the relegation zone of the Championship that's been domestic champions more recently, but still, they're right up there with the best teams in Europe. No, seriously, they really are.....

dont forget those teams were ahead of liverpool to win it in 2005 and who won it? its how you perform on the pitch on match day not on paper. like that dumb **** carlos quierzo (man u assistant manager) said its the performance not the result, thats why man u losing to celtic was more important to man u than the points.
