It's always been farce, not just this year. I still watch it but don't pay much attention to it and then I always get upset if someone who I like gets voted out. From the first moment when Robert sang All Night Long I knew I loved him. I wish he gets a good record deal. He's such a nice guy and you can see singing is his passion.

I believe all the contestant work very hard and do their best so I don't want to slag anybody off. But the show's a joke and that's true.

I've said all along that your phone votes count for nothing. The winner is already known. The whole show is a complete 'fix'. Even the 'rows' between the judges are staged to a certain extent.
How the McDoodle brothers have got this far is a complete nonsense.

It's fixed - and every time you pick up the phone to cast your 'vote' you're lining the pockets of Simon Cowell, the production company, Sharon Osborne, Lewis Walsh and the phone company.

You brought up question so here is my answer: Every single place I have visited over the last few weeks north south east and west everyone wanted Rhydian to win. Yahoo, youtube myspace ect wanted Rhydian to win College where daughter goes wanted Rhydian to win University campus two I know wanted Rhydian to win X Factor OWN site Rhydian most popular to win. Everyone incuding myself could not get through to vote for Rhydian some also Leon Same difference no problem. So just why did Rhydian not win because THEY DID NOT WANT HIM TOO. so I blame simon and x factor and itv rigging the lines or not even counting properly. I will not be buying Leon's record as the record whoever sings it it is crap end of!!

Unfortunately for Robert he fell victim to the British public's unconscious racism. No black artist wins shows where the public votes. Not just X Factor, but pop idol, Fame Academy, Im A Celebrity, Big Brother.

Oh, and while I'm here Robert was lucky to get to the final stages. Good voice, but no stage presence, no charisma, and definitely nothing new to offer.

Yes me.
If Simon would have voted Eton Road off then he would have looked like he was only doing it to get at Louis, but he didn't have the balls to deal with the aftermath so voted Robert to keep the peace. Shame for Robert and the public as we have to endure Eton Road again. The MacDoodle Brother are also a pile of Shite.

Robert was great, a much better singer than any of Eaton Road, but he was forgettable... He's lacking much personality and doesn't make great TV... Eaton Road were kept on for entertainment purposes... I think it's so unfair that both Ashley and Robert are gone now and the Mc Donald brothers are still there though.

I do! Eton Road are a good group BUT some of their interpretations have been awful. I refer you to the week before last. Robert has a great voice and no doubt WILL do well in the music industry

At the end of the day, we have Lemar and the other black guy from X-factor last year Andy....

Note, the problem is that you can not have more than one or 2 of the same kinda acts around

Robert was great - but you have to accept the limitations to him - having the personality and style that he does

But I think he was great and if he released a single i would buy it!

I agree with you girl!.... I was gob smacked and have lost interest in the show now!!!

It is ridiculous.... the show is about having the X-Factor, predominantly having great vocal talent.... so......lets take time out here a second and think.......??????....... The McDonald Brothers & Eaton Road V's Robert?......... Not EVEN a close match!!!!! Robert on sheer vocal talent wins hands down, not even geting started on his energy, star quality and carisma!!!

The problem is on these shows, eaton rd have a 5 times advantage over Robert every week to get votes cus theres 5 ov them, 5 groups of families, 5 groups ov friends.........And the WHOLE ov Scotland is voting for McDonalds, Its just an unfair system and the real talent can often slip thru the net cus ov silly voting!!!!!!

Anyone who sais any different smells like rotten haggis and wheres kilts :-) LOL!!!!!

Absolutely shocking. I've never understood the appeal of boy bands (or girl bands for that matter). Some of them get good after a few years, but a brand new one like Eton Road can never sound good. And that one with the messy black haircut in front of his eyes is just too wierd looking. None of them can really sing and they certainly can't sing in harmony. Their rendition of Don't Feel Like Dancing was rubbish...I know that sounds like a rant, but opinions ar ok as long they're not harmful...I hope.
