I don't think that's weird. You're entitled to do what you want to do. In my family, we celebrate Easter, Halloween and Christmas and birthdays because those are the fun holidays for the kids. As for the rest of the holidays.....we pretty much do the same thing on those days as we do for any other.

It's not weird. Even in conservative societies where families are supposed to be "tight-knit", these things happen.
If you are generally a close family, maybe its not one of the activities where you have common ground so you don't like doing it together. It could also mean that you are not a very socio-political family so you find no reason in keeping up with these things.
If you aren't, well, it is understandable. You could leave it as it is but if you think its weird, try to initiate some small family moments (eating together) before going to big stuff (vacationing).

You and your family are lucky. No hassle about Xmas dinners and presents. Just do what you want to do. Nothing to be jealous about!
But it is not weird. People over react on holiday celebration, it's all about more food and more presents.

You and your family have your own customs, there is no need to conform to everyone else's expectations of the holidays, unless you feel you're missing out. Try and spread holiday cheer to the rest of your family
