Dude, why do you care who she is sleeping with if she is your ex? Even you have feelings for her still, it is in no way any of your business who she does or doesn't see. I don't think you'll go to prison and anything that comes out that whole nutty ordeal really depends on whether or not she files charges against you. She did hit you first but who knows what you did to provoke that. There is no reason for you to have hit her back though, a real man would've walked away from that situation (drunk or not) when its a woman whose throwing the hits. I think you need to grow up and move on and use this experience as a lesson and reminder of why she's no longer with you...

First, you are blaming her for your actions, own up to it that you have a problem. The other thing you will get thrown on you is a DVO, domestic violence order, and that will stick with you for life. If I were you, I would tell the courts that you have a problem and want help. They may possibly go lighter on your sentence. You will not go to prison unless you have done this before, or you caused her to have injuries that were serious enough that they would consider attempted murder.
Advice......stay away from her!!!!! No phone calls, no visits, no contact whatsoever. Do not have anyone to threaten her in any way. Even if she does not press charges, the DA could still make your life hell.
I honestly hope this has scared you to the point that you will never attempt something so stupid again.

If this is not an ongoing occurance and the police hve no history about violence towards your ex, then you will get a slap on the wrist. Did she call the police and report it?
If she did then the police have not been reound to arrest you yet have they, so i wouldn't work yourself up over this, at the end of the day, i totally think it unacceptable fot a man to his a woman, i was beaten for 8 years, but i also dont belive in a woman hitting a man. She should not have struck out at you in the first place, if the police do pull you in tell them the truth, they are trying to crack down on domestic violence, but will also take into account that she struck out at you first. You will just be causioned and probably told not to go round to your ex"s again or harrass her. If you do continue you could probably then find yourself in hot water. Lifes to short on dwelling on the past and at the end of the day ex means past. You need to move on, look to the future, and find yourself someone new, unfortunately what your ex does now does not concern you any more. There are plenty of other people out there so dont look too hard the right one will come along at the right time.
Good luck,

First of all you need to apologize to your ex. tell her that you are sorry for what happened. then you need to consult with a lawyer, you may or not need one. but it will be good to have one in place. I hope that you have learned a lesson, from this. Never put your hands, on a lady, you had no business going over your ex house, what happened, happened. If she did sleep with another guy, then you should not ever bother her any more, because that is nasty, and that is how you should have looked at it! But be a man, and apologize to her, and tell her to have a nice life, and hang up.

Personally i have zero tolerance for anyone hitting anyone...the point is she is your ex...you were drunk and you went to confront her about something that is none of your business...at the end of the day the fact that she hit you first doesnt justify your own actions...you could have walked away...and you didnt...she has herself to blame for losing her temper and you can only blame yourself too...i dont know why she hit you so i cant comment on that too much...id stay away...mind your own business and dont drink if you talk to her in future...i dont know if you will go to jail but use this experience to teach you a lesson about self control...;0)

if your worried about being charged, then you need to charge her first since you say she hit you first. cover your ***.
no you should not hit a woman, but she has no more right than you to hit you!!! I am a woman and I believe if I want respect...I have to give respect therefor if I hit a man he has every right to hit me back. infact I would have to expect it. I have never been hit by a man becaus eI have always treated them the way I want to be treated.
my brother took the approche of never hitting a woman and that got him no where.. his girlfriend told everyone he was hitting her when later she admitted it was her doing the hitting....and she was a big girl...could give most guys a run for their money. too many women these days use the excuse that a man can't hit them as an excuse to treat him bad. NOT acceptable. those women make us good ones look bad.

You should have known better than that. You need to be scared you may not do any prison time. But you will have to go anger management classes and several years of probation. So you better watch it. Don't mix alcohol and anger never hit a woman.

You're a bit of a pillock aren't you... Your ex can sleep with who she wants, it's none of your feckin' business what she does, hence the 'ex' prefix...
Now you need to start to control your jealousy from now on and stop feeling so insecure. Because of your green-eyed monster, rearing up about something that is none of your business, you could - if you get a really tough judge - be facing 60 days of getting butt-f**ked off your cellmate....
I doubt your ex would come over and confront you about it tho'.....

WELL...Since she's your "ex"...you shouldnt have went over there in the first place !
Obviously if your writing this, you didnt get arrested, or the cops havent found you yet??
If your over 18, you will go to jail.. and if she presses charges, your in deep s.h.i.t.
If she doesnt press charges, it will be up to the D.A. (district attorney) whether or not to press charges.
A guy that hits a girl deserves to be punished.
Good luck Buddy!

Depends how she reacts if she wants to press charges......did you mark her so she could easily have photographic evidnece etc. Police etc
Thing is if you did it you have no option but to hold your hands up and plead guilty and take whats due. Not sure why it ever needed to come to this and perhaps a harsh lesson learned.
