Where'd you here that? I've aways heard Walmart's very, very conservative when it comes to social issues. Cultivating an image that supports that whole "Middle America", "traditional family values" thing. That's what I've heard anyway. However, if it would help them make more money by broadening their costumer base or give them good press who knows.

Marriage ceased to be sacred a long time ago in a country where lots of people treat it like a sport Gay marriages have a better track record than any others and they produce no children to be left with out a functional family when they do break up if more people would quite worrying about gays and pay attention to their own life the world would be a better place. Walmart is many things to many people villain to some Savior to others I believe that on this issue they are trying to do what is right vilifying people for their sexual preference is dead wrong it is absolutely no on else's business what so ever so lets leave it at that any corporation that wants to support any group is allowed to without the permission of the rest of the overly fearful world that can't seem to examine themselves too closely before trying to direct and control other peoples lives.
no I'm not gay and yes I shop at walmart and I don't worry about how they spend their billions they also own used car lots, insurance companies and banks they are like chicken man they're everywhere

WHAT? Seriously, where do you people come from? To think that gay marriage is the worst thing you can think of that would happen if supported Walmart. Seriously why can't people bud out of other people's business and let them have the same rights as everyone else in this country. If you are worried about saving people and the sanctity of this country, start with you minister/alter boys, evangelical leaders and your local church goer hypocrites. You aren't even worried about how Walmart exploits the poor, purchases most of there goods over seas, runs most local business's out of business,etc..... Don't you worry though!
