For starters: Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Lain Stayley, Frank Zappa, David Crosby, Kurt cobain, Noel Bradley, Sid Viscious, Ozzy Ozbourne. to name a few drug abusing rock stars.

Then there's songs like "cocain" by Eric Clapton, "Tamborine man" by The Beatles, "Purple Haze" by jimmy Hendrix, To list a small portion of rock songs about drug use

Then ther'e is the Rockumentaries on VH1 all of which go the same way. Musician forms band, Musician go's platinum, Musician makes millions, Musician uses drugs either for fun or to keep moving for long hours on the road, Musician go's broke buying drugs, Musician hit's rock bottom, Musician cleans up, Musician begins road to comeback status.

There is 3 good reasons. Don't get me wrong though. Rock is the culture that made me and I wouldn't have it any other way. You can't have the good without the bad. So you can be a pussy and pretend it isn't there or you can be a man and take the bad puch it in it's face and say "Yeah mother f*er! thats me! I punched you in the face and you're gonna like it!"

Not stereotype. Many rock stars used drugs in the 60s. And the practice is still there today. Not all musicians take drugs. But yeah, they're there for the taking if the rocker wants them. That's common knowledge in the music industry.

Some rockers live reckless lives, filled with booze and drugs. Whereas, perfect pop princesses live fairy tail lives.
I'd rather be a boozed up rocker than a fakey pop diva.
Not all rockers are bad though.
I know how you feel though. My grandma calls the Rolling Stones devil music. Lol!
