Avoid soft cheeses, raw eggs, unpasteurised milk and shellfish. However, that's just some of the things you need to avoid. Ask your midwife or GP for a full list, just to be on the safe side. Congratulations and good luck!

You should avoid salami, ham, and other cold meats, raw eggs, soft serve ice cream, raw shellfish eg oysters, soft cheeses, ready cooked chicken cold, pate, ready made salads from salad bars or packaged, undercooked meat should be well done, liver, shak marlin & swordfish should be avoided & tuna limited to 2 cans or 1 steak a week this follows concerns about mercury in the fish. peanuts if you or other close members of your family suffer from peanut allergy or atopic eczema, hayfever or asthma. This is a list my ob gave me in a letter which he sends out after you make your first appointment. Good luck with your pregnancy.

ACTUALLY- you can eat nuts, ther is no proof to say that eating nuts in pregnancy will gove your child an allergy. soft cheese and raw fish, eggs are a good source of protein, but must be hard boiled or with no runny bits.

You need to be careful of meat. Make sure all meat is cooked to within an inch of its molecules. Raw is a definate no, no. You might want to avoid nuts as well, just in case of nut allergies.

Stay away from any kinds of raw animal products...sushi, cheese, milk, meats.
Eat a lot of leafy greens, find sources of folic acid, tons of fruit, and more water.
Of course, don't do cigarettes, alcohol, or smoke crack. Babies really don't like that.

papita for sure for first 3 weeks, dont eat very spicy food, liver, cold meat. about nuts i will not say if you should or not as it can cause alergy to your baby but if he is not allergic to it then by having it you will improve his/her memory.
to help you will nausea, you can try and consume skimmed milk for first 3 months, not eat anything oily in the morning, and try rice crispies or cereal when you feel nausea

soft cheeses like brie, stilton ect, seafood, you can only take paracetamol for aches and pains, if you like red meat then it has to be really well cooked, nothing with raw eggs in and hard boiled eggs only i hope it helps a little bit x
