It's a departement in every company that sells something (goods or services). This departement handles everything that has to do with the customers - from complaints and damages, even to positive feedbacks. The customer service employees answer the phone dedicated to customers, answer to the e-mails the customers send and take care of their needs. This is the ideal status, but there are many customer service employees who are not very kind, and receive lots of negative feedback from the customers.

GOOD Customer service is something all business should aspire to achieve.
It begins with good, knowledgeable employees, a little training helps too.
It involves the customer being greeted politely, being given the full attention of the staff member, and having their query / suggestion dealt with accordingly, and in a timely manner.
And all by someone who should, at least appear to care...
Where have you been, on the moon?
