How cruel is that - surely by buying tusks you have contributed to killing another elephant.
I dont think you will be able to sell them on EBay as they are an endangered species and is illegal!!!!!!!!!!!!

The trade in Elephant tusks is governed by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora drawn up in Washington. Many countries are signatories to the convention which places a large number of restrictions on the trade of such goods and regulates the trade. You are almost certain to require documents from the country of origin to prove the legal status of the tusks (if they had such status). I strongly suspect that the items you have are illegal and should not have been sold to you in the first place, however if they are legal you will have a difficult task in selling them due to the restrictions in place for the sale of such goods. While E-bay may be very lax about the legality of sales carried out through their site trade in endangered animal products covered by international law might not go unnoticed.

How much did you pay for them? Are they really worth it considering that they are illegal to trade in? As most posts on here have expressed digust at them being available and for you to have purchased them, I'm not going to go down that route. My mum has some ivory handled knives which are well over 50 years old. I agree ivory is beautiful but in this day and age you can get in so much trouble for having them that it really isn't worth it.
I do not condone the buying or selling of them nowadays as there are too many unscrupulous people out there wanting to make a quick buck.
As some of the other posters on here have suggested use them as a decoration in your own home especially if you do really think they are lovely. Not my cup of tea but hen it would be better than trying to find a dealer and maybe getting yourself into trouble.
Ebay wouldn't allow the trade of them or any other bidding site as far as I am aware.

Bullsh*t. I'm a zoologist born and bred in Africa, and can tell you that trade in ivory is illegal in Kenya. Even if you bought it illegally, there's no way you van get them through Kenyan customs and probably not into your country, depending where you live. Even though African elephants are not a rare or endangered species (yet), trade in ivory is banned in most countries to discourage the illegal poaching of elephants. Even most conservation authorities who, at times, are in the unfortunate position to have to cull elephants to save other species, don't sell the resultant ivory to discourage ANY trade that may leave the door open for poachers to do their thing.
Best you can do is not to encourage the trade. Put them up in your study or something, but please don't sell them.

Unless it is old ivory it is almost cerain to be illegal..Most people go on holiday to Kenya to enjoy the spectacular wildlife ,I don't think I have heard of anyone who has gone there to help the trade in illegal slaughter of animals .
You are a very strange person !
