Why is it that when we have no meney for lunch at work, we feel as if though we are starving to a point where you would beg, borrow & steal to overcome the feeling. But when we are loaded with cash at work, thats when we couldn't be bothered with food.

Any thaughts?

This happens to me quite often, only i do not beg or steal. I think its due to the self-sympathy we have for ourselves that we feel this way, our mind at this point may think that we're going to starve as we cannot afford a lunch. Or it may be due to the mild jealousy of seeing that others are having scrumtious lunch while you, nothing. Funny how we always feel hungry when we are moneyless. On the other hand, when we're loaded with cash, we tend to take what we have for granted. We are so well assured that we can have / afford lunch later on, or whenever we want that funnily, we don't feel hungry at all.

Well, you are right. When you don't have money and are in the situations like you said, you will act on your impulse. It is hard to predict human nature.
