I mean how did they get the camera on the moon before armstong left the ship

For the people that have said the camera was on the leg of the space ship if you watch the landing you see the whole of the space ship with armstrong coming out of it

The camera was held in an equipment stowage tray which lowered from the Eagle's side like a drawbridge. The tray was released when Armstrong pulled on a D-ring from where he was standing at the top of the ladder. He waited until he heard Capcom confirm that they were receiving a TV picture back in Mission Control, then he started down the ladder....and the rest is history.

The Appolo Project was the United States' plan to get humans on the Moon during the 1960s. It Used the world's most powerful rocket ,Saturn V, to launch three man Appolo spacecraft. While orbiting tho Moon, Appolo craft would separate into two parts. The landing module carried by the two astronauts down to the moon's surface, while the main part remained in orbit with the third astronaut.

The correct answer is graphcally illustrated in the very funny film The Dish with Sam Neill. The camera was indeed extended from the lander by a release mechanism. What did you think would happen, 'Oops did someone forget the camera?'. This was all preplanned in meticulous detail.

You mean Armstrong as the first human on the moon? Camaras are operated from the space ship.

The camera was put there with the lighting, it was a studio not the moon everyone knows that!!!

Thats why armstrong is so quite and unimpressed about his apparent achievment.

Technically he was the first man on the moon. The person with the camera who was there before him was a woman, so didn't get the recognition she deserved.

Damned NASA chauvinism.

There is no film of him coming out of the space craft just still photos taken from the craft itself. The video footage of him is taken after he has got out. He had positioned the camera and then he did his silly dancing about. That or it's a fraud. The picture is dodgy...

What? The camera was held on the side of the lunar module as it descended, on the end of an arm which pointed at the door.

Do you think that Armstrong has really landed on the moon.No he did not landed on the moon.Just to show the pride of America they created and made a setting like the moon.It is well known fact .You just think one thing that all of us know that there is no environment on the moon but how can u expect a shadow of Armstrong falling on the surface.......?It will lead to your answers. If he was landed on the moon that time itself why the Indian astronauts are unable to reach the moon and planning for chandrayan and why the Americans came into collaboration with us.This is all a gambling and just to show that we are powerful.
