Like better Disneyland or Disney World? & what's the difference besides the location?

I've only been to Disneyland it was awesome!!

Disney world is way better, and I have been to both. Disney land is cramed into a small plot of land where you can see highway where Disneyworld was specificly desined to be away from the rest of society. Disney land has too parks an one hotel. Disney world has four parks, three water parks, a sport center, and over fifteen hotels. The size of the parks are much larger. World beats out land for anyone who has been to them both.

I haven't been to Disneyland, but I'm positive I'll always like Walt Disney World best. It is the number one vacation destination in the world. It is much, much larger than Disneyland. At Walt Disney World there are four theme parks, two water parks, Downtown Disney, and 25 different Resort options. Disneyland is only two theme parks, a Downtown Disney District, and three hotels...

I couldn't find the exact size of the Disneyland Resort, but the Walt Disney World Resort is significantly larger. There's much more to do at Walt Disney World. It's my favorite place!

never been to Disneyland but i love Disney world. The magic kingdom in Disney world is the same as Disney land except with different decorations. But at Disney world there are 3 other theme parks (admit ion to each is sold separately) we have Epcot, MGM studios, and animal kingdom. and Disney world even has two water parks. Blizzard beach, and typhoon lagoon.

from what I've seen Disneyland just has Disneyland and California adventure which I'm sure are great but Disney world is awesome

I have been to both, Disney world is much bigger due to the fact it has Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, the water parks etc. They also have many other non park things that are great like Disney Quest. When i went to Disney land, California adventure just opened, it has looping coasters all huge tower rides that blast you up and down, and well yeah. It really depends why you are going for kids and a whole family Disney World is like 5 times better. for single or small group of young adults you will probably find that Disney land is better due to California adventure.

I've been to and worked at both locations..

In terms of selection of things to do, DisneyWorld is it hands down.

The rides are bigger, there are more of them ,. more shows, more characters, more resources etc etc.

DisneyLand does have somethings going for it, there are a few rides that are only available there. It has a much older .. more "authentic nostalgia" feel, and you are much more likely to get discounted admission locally than WDW.

That said, DL also gets a lot more "specials" than WDW ,. at least in the Magic Kingdom.

They have the Nightmare Before Christmas haunted mansion ride, the It's a Small World is much larger and more detailed, and they get an xmas version.

With it's close proximity to Disney corporate HQ, they also get a lot more special hard ticket events surrounding anniversaries , new movies, media events and the like.

So if your a Disneyanna / collectibles / frothing over every little detail they come out with kind of person, DL is the one to go with.

Only other comments ,. DL has a completely different vibe to it than WDW ,. you know your in So. Cal. .. and there are a lot more locals in the parks at any given time too. I know when I was living out west in Rodondo Beach, i went to DL for a few hours every other week.

My family and I have been to both. We love Disney World much better. Besides the 4 different parks plus 2 water parks it is much bigger. I would recommend staying at one of the Disney hotels, it really keeps with the feel of a true Disney vacation. We are going again after the first of the year, it will be our 5th time going.

Disney World is larger with more parks and more rides I think. I've never been to Disney Land but I loved Disney World.

Wastless trivia... Disneyland, the parking for guests, the parking for cast members (the people that work there), plus the cast member parking lot for magic kingdom, could at one time (before the race track) fit into the parking lot of the magic kingdomm for the guests. so hmm, let's see bigger park is what i would go for.

Disneyworld has 7 different parks....it's huge!! It has Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, and 3 waterparks. You use the monorails and buses to get from one park to another.

a lot of deaths caused by crappy maintenence
BELIEVE IT OR NOT!-both parks have over 500 deaths that they dont tell you about! there is this book that has to be given to the public upon request! It's huge. My moms friend had it once and it was so thick! WHOWIE!! its so sad =[
