Mark G, I remember what the press was like (2001-2003) before it turned against the war. Don't you?

Equal rights for all particularly the freedom of the press without being branded as Liberal.

I'm guessing that you don't like being labeled as anything. By the looks of the types of questions you have asked I would guess you are looking for answers but you do tend to lean more toward the Democrat or Liberal philosophies of life.

That's fine. Most young people do. It is rare (yet refreshing) when a young person leans more to a conservative way of thinking. Usually happens when a young person has to start fending for themselves financially _and_ when they start having children. If they care about their own future and their childrens future they become much more conservative in how they look at things. Have children and your priorities change. If they don't, I feel sorry for the children.

Just so you know... Conservatives also believe in equal rights for all. Conservatives also believe that the Press isn't all it could/should be. As for questioning true motives for using force, if there were a inkling that the reasons for this war were not what they were claimed to be, the Conservatives would also be questioning motives. The difference is the Democrats/Liberals on these message boards wants there to be some sinister plot and attempt to create them when common sense and logic tells you none exist behind the War in Iraq. the goal is to use anything negative they can against the Republicans/Conservatives. On the flipside, the Republicans/Conservatives just want to stick to the provable facts.

So, I don't know, what the hell are you looking for? The truth or ways to discredit Republicans/Conservatives?

PS... Proof? Proof of what? I never even mentioned the word proof. See.. you are doing exactly what I said.. you are looking for something negative to trip me up on. I didn't give you anything so you are now trying to create it.

What do you mean by strange press in this war? Are you referring to the fact that most of the press coverage is biased to show the war was wrong? If so you are correct. Most of the friends and family I have that has served in Iraq will tell you the press is so warped they don't believe they are seeing the same war on TV as the one they are in. Do you mean how the press never tells us that Al-Qaida still states that they will attack America until we convert to Islam. Weather or not we are in the Middle East?
