We don't actually die.
See, "God has... planted eternity into our hearts." 1 Which is why we are all a little afraid to die. Life is just the staging area for eternity. "When this tent we live in - our body here on earth - is torn down, God will have a house in heaven for us to live in, a home has himself has made, which will last forever." 2
While life gives us so many choices, eternity only holds true to two: heaven or hell. Your relationship with God here on earth will determine your place in eternity. C.S. Lewis once said, "There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done.' and those to whom God says, 'All right, have it your way.' "
When you fully comprehend that there is more to life than just here and now, and you realize that life is just preparation for eternity, you will start living your life differently. Preparing for eternity, rather than for dieing.
Death is not the end of you. Sure, your heart stops beating.. you stop breathing... but it is not the end of you. Death is nor your termination, but your transaction into eternity, so there are eternal consequences for everything you do here on earth.
So, what is it going to be like living in eternity with God? Well, our brains can not quite imagine it. It is like trying to explain how the Internet works to an ant. "No mere man has never seen, heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has ready for those who love the Lord." 3 But, one thing is for sure, we won't lie on clouds with halos playing the harp.
So, begin to love the Lord your God now, and you will expect only the best when you 'die'.

The thoughts of the body being married with the spirit, separate as death has done the "marriage" part......
the breath of life within the soul, is expelled at an exhale, heaved forth from the breast as the cells break down......the body shuts down.......
Thoughts perish......
The breath... was the life of "it"..... --- "it"... was that thing that was created from the dust it shall return.....
But, the spirit, moves away....... being that "living thing" which once inhabited the place of its existence finds life in a furthered abode.....
Your sister,
Ginger

Depending on what you want. You get buried in the ground, burned, or thrown into the sea with a little fanfare. People mourn. The end.

Unless there's proof otherwise, you return to the randon nothingness from whence you came. To think otherwise, is wishful and fanciful thinking.

Darkness . . . nothingness !
But hey wouldn't it be nice to think there's bonus?
Like seeing the light of heaven if we've led a good life.
Or the furnace of hell if unfortunately we turned bad.

you know when people say that we go to haven or hell well i dont think that is true because you know when an animal dies we dont think that they go to hell or heven and why should we think that about us. We are just organisms just like them we live we do what we do and one day we just stop and that's it we dont exist anymore.Blank

When you die, you die. It is as simple as that.
I don't believe in the afterlife nor do I believe in reincarnation.

Nothing happens. Without mourning your life, you'll sleep forevermore...
