Who are the better liars and who does it more, men or women?

Lying or being honest depends on the individual not whether they are male or female. Some people seem to be able to justify the fact that they lie as an acceptable form of behavior for themselves. They seem to think that they are above all others and can get away with telling an abundance of lies. Sooner or later they will be caught in a web of lies that they have woven all by themselves.

Oh i'd have to call this one a tie. I think men are sometimes better at the outright blatant lie, whereas i think women just stretch the truth. Both sexes can be very sneaky though.
Although it is dependent on the person. There are honest ones on both sides.

I guess this doesn't depend on the sex. I've met both men and women who were totally honest but I've also met men and women who were awful liars! I guess the quantity of men/women liars around you just depends on your surroundings and your relations with them. It's different for different people.

men lie more, women lie better.
Men cause of pride and status,bragging rights count for a lot with some idiots.Also getting caught out is more lilky to be seen as the actions of a romantic "chancer"or "jack the lad"

Women cause we live in a sexist world and honesty is more likly to be held and used against them, for women its percieved more as a necessity and the stakes are probably higher if they get caught out

Ultimatly the trick is NLP, style reconditioning anyone can learn to convince themselves and ten others about the "rightness" of their actions

Or is it that women are more suspicious so find the liars out more. Whereas men are too busy thinking about football or sex to care if anyone is lying to them?

Women because they are far more socially intelligent than men and know how to get away with it.

Men leave evidence but women have far better organisation skills.

I don't think one sex is better at lying than the other, I think it depends on who you are lying to.

My fella can't lie to me. I know him too well and he cannot control his little giveaways that tell me he's lying. Even about the smallest thing like, how many biscuits have you eaten out of the packet?

I on the other hand can lie to him and he is never sure coz he can't read me as well as I can read him. I don't lie about big things, just about surprises like holidays, presents, etc. I once lied about scratching the car and got away with it, but I felt guilty and fessed up!

My sister can always tell if I am lying, she notices something about me but has never told me what it is that I do that tells her I am lying, but she is the only one who can tell out of everyone I know.

Women. we are much more imaginative, much wittier and quicker to ivnent credible stories. i flatter myself that i am one of the world's best liar, msot of the time anyway...ha! which emans that i could perfectly well be lying to you right now. Which would mean that i wouldn't be a liar. but then it would mean that i AM lying. Go on, admit your confused! not only am i a good lair, but i confusing and muddlign liar!!!!! :D

i think women are better liars and they do it more often. to be a good liar you have to have a good memory and women have a better memory than men.
