i have a friend n the states i want to greet her for this occasion so i want to make sure if its today or the 24th, thanks

No...Thanksgiving was yesterday the 23rd...The 4th Thrusday of the month...Today is our biggest shopping day of the year, but nothing to celebrate.

Sorry, Thankgiving fell on the 23rd of November this year. You can wish your friend a Happy belated Thanksgiving anyway.

As an FYI (for your information), Thanksgiving in the States is officially the 4th Thursday in November.

That's a very nice thought, but as they have said, you're a day late Never mind that though. Call your friend and ask her/him how was your Thanksgiving yesterday? Did you enjoy time with your family?
It's just as nice and your friend will appreciate the call more than you know.

thanksgiving was on the 23rd, the 24th is usually spent shopping for all the wonderful bargains the stores all offer
