be yourself. its the easiest way.
if they like you for who you are, then they are meant to be your friends.
if you have to put on an act to ake friends, then those aren't friends. those are self-centered people who will use you and dump you once they've got what they wanted.

Well trying too hard isnt working very well, and if it did its probably not really the 'friend' you are looking for. More likely to take advantage. So I agree with the above, be yourself, dont go searching for it.

The best way of character is not the sugar coated one. Just be yourself and your friend will take and accept you for who you are...and not because of what they want you to be.
