i am an aussie and i am shocked at how awful the poms have played so far in the ashes. to all the poms, are u still confident?
chasing 570 with only 7 wickets in hand, put down a win for the aussies in this test and a clean sweep in the series. in short, the english victory of last year was a one-off, and for those who think it wasnt, i say look at your team now.

going by the current score 5/82 at 11.58 (tassie time) they are sucking even more than usual , overconfident i guess ,playing against "dads army" lol

Its all part of evolution, the poms have to accept that the apprentice has outgrown the master, like the empire they still talk so much about they have exceeded their expiry date and need to stop living in their sporting past (although i dont understand what they think they had to brag about in the first place, they cant even win a sure thing in any sport ie soccer)

You must be awfully young or naieve or maybe a bit of both.I am also an aussie and I can remember the poms thrashing us 5 to nil inmany ashes series.And YOU must remember when they won them from us after 20 years we WON the forst test easily and then they came back and took the ashes from us.

Though Australia is set to win the first set handsomely, the series is still wide open and it is too early to predict a clean sweep for Australia. Time alone can tell with what margin Australia can win the series.
