The Producers, Blue Man Group and The Woman in Black? I want to go to a show with a work colleague before Christmas and I want to know which is the best (these 3 are the cheapest seats).

Three very different shows, so it depends what you want to go for.

Woman in Black is the most 'straightforward', a very creepy ghost story, good for a Christmas night. Lots of the audience end up screaming. How nervous are your work colleagues? It's also very theatrical and imaginative. It's been running for ages, and you can tell why.

The Producers is a high camp musical, very funny and very clever but may offend some people - again, you know your work colleagues, is singing songs praising Hitler likely to cause any offence? If not, they'll wet themselves.

The Blue Man group is a bit of an oddity, sort of a modern clown show. I'd have to say personally I think they're not all they're cracked up to be - it's an American idea of what's whacky and liberated, and as such doesn't come across so well over here. Often they seem to be enjoying themselves more than the audience. Depends if watching small children throw paint up a wall sounds like your idea of fun.

So... I'd vote for Woman in Black for a scare and Producers for a laugh.

I've heard the Blue Man Group are worth seeing, although they do look bizarre. I'd give The Producers a miss though. Woman in Black has been around a while so I'm guessing it must be good. Have a great time...

The Producers is probably more of a fun night out. It closes soon in the new year so you will have seen it in time. Blue Man Group are more circus performance based and I think they are a waste of space time and ticket money, quite why they are in the West End is beyond me. Woman in Black, is a two hander(2 actors) that tell a ghost story. It is very effective and has been running for a long time so is cearly very popular, but it does appeal to an older audience. If you want a fun night out leading up to Christmas Producer's is he one for you!!! Have Fun!

They are 3 very different types of shows and for me is hard to say what's the best - it all depends on what type of mood you are in and what sort of thing you want to see.

See The Producers if you want a laugh.
See Blue Man Group if you want to see a spectacle.
See Woman in Black if you want to be scared.

They are all good and worth seeing - enjoy!

The Producers, most definitely. It's hilarious and a great musical. The Woman in Black is good too, but the Producers is one of my favorite shows ever, and its characters are incredible =)

I've not seen the first two, however I have seen "The woman in black." A little classic, thoroughly enjoyable and very clever use of scenery. Isn't it one of the longest running plays in the West End? Must say something for it. Nice little theatre as well.
