Steve Smith (Univ. of Utah) - Carolina Panthers receiver. That guy is amazing. He not only breaks the stereotype that small receivers can't play, he shatters it. He's an inspiration to the little guys out there.
Samie Parker is also a good role model as an NFL Wide Receiver, too as I know his work ethic and his character as a person. He's the best football player I ever got to be around. I'll pick Smith but I just wanted to give some props to Samie.

Andre Johnson, number 80, Houston Texans. Even though I am not a fan of David Carr, I am a fan of Andre. He's very fast, very strong, and, makes his QB look good from time to time. Johnson is a clean cut, smart young man. He doesn't get all of the attention of a Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison, TO, Hines Ward, or, Kellen Winlsow Jr (who hapens to be a tight end), but, check out the stats. Houston isn't a passing team, and, yet the guy goes out and makes plays week after week worthy of ESPN, CNN play of the day, and, NFL films greatest plays. He simply plays the game to it's fullest, without all of the antics, and, arrogance. His numbers aren't bad either.

Rod Smith as he doesn't have the attitude of these prima donnas like TO and Chad Johnson. When he gets to the end zone, to paraphrase the saying, he shows that he's been there before.
Same reason as my all time favorite receiver choice would be Steve Largent.

all you guys are naming good recievers, but you're forgetting one of the most underrated or underaprecciated ever. Marvin Harrison. I hate the colts but you have to repect him. Not only will he go out and beat you every single play, but he won't show boat or draw attention away from his team. Even though his stats are amazing it's the way he carries himself and represents his team that makes him my favorite.

Terry Glenn is soft and T.O. won't usually catch a TD unless the game is already out of reach.
