how much you depend on the people around you?

I depend on my girlfriend and myself. She's the only one I know I can count on, including family and friends. They're messed up, but she's solid as a rock.

Right now I depend on an 80 yr old woman I help out all day long usually. She gives me a place to live out back in a small building and I help her with almost everything she can't do for herself which is a ton of stuff...
My mother died 15 yrs ago so it's not often people get a second shot at having a "mom". I'm a 48 yrs old single man even though I lived with the same woman 23 years till she left me last summer :(
She took the rent money and I had nowhere else to go at the time and it's sort of worked out.
I love my second "mom"

Probably not as much as I should. I do love those I depend on. I hope they feel the same about me.

thing of the past, life is too precious to depend on outsiders, love those around, but depend on, no way. to each thier own, love will provide.

Constantly aware of it and I'm not too proud of it sometimes, but I don't know what I would do without my sister and brother-in-law and a friend of ours. And I try to be sure they know how much I appreciate everything they do for me.
