Well if Q is in P&S...I always asume that they are here to have fun.
But I have noticed lately that the P&S popularity is no secret and The freaks leak in here from time to time.

Not so much about the asker but i have noticed the female answers seem to get voted best answer even though a male answerer has answered with exactly the same answer earlier.
I tested this out with a male friend of mine, we both answered the same questions with exactly the same answer, some times he answered 1st and sometimes i answered 1st, but no matter who answered 1st if our answer was chosen as best, it was always mine that was chosen despite it being worded exactly the same as his lol.

Not much. Depending on the phrasing of the question, I generally assume they want a serious answer.
This is the internet, people aren't always who they seem.
I simply try to answer the questions as well as I can.

Nine times out of ten, I assume I'm going to hate the asker. I'm glad to say that on very rare occasions, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Depends on the question they ask. You for example have asked many exciting and interesting questions. I assume you are smart, witty, and caring, due to the questions I have personally seen. A lot can be assumed by ones questions.

I generally assume nothing, but a lot of answers make me assume a lot of people have a BIG empty hole between their ears.

Having asked almost 1500 Qs of my own, absolutely nothing. Not even half of my Qs are autobiographical.

I read their Q carefully and try my darndest to say something glib, unless it's a truly serious Q, then I will give my honest answer.
which leads to many thumbs down, and almost never the best answer

I assume:
that they're not high on drugs
they are sane
they have enough money to buy a computer or their parents do
they have a brain and ........
they are bored like me
