bonjour,
Nicolas Sarkozy is the the head of UMP and I believe was or still is Interior Minister. I believe he is a hard liner, and remembering the riots in Paris, he may not be the right man for your immigration problems.
I love France, spend a summer in the south as a student, it was wonderful. Loved driving Peugeot, drinking french wine and living La dolce vita... yes, I am also a big Italy fan.

Every French news bulletin features the man who made his mark as an authoritarian interior minister - tough on crime, and tough on immigration.
Nicolas Sarkozy's straight talking is popular with many French voters
Then he was handed the poisoned chalice of the finance ministry - with the Sisyphean task of trying to balance the nation's books. Yet still, he was able to secure the highest approval ratings of anyone in government.
"He's hyperactive, he's ambitious, he's a heavy worker, a workaholic, he never rests," says Anita Hausser, who wrote a biography of Mr Sarkozy and is political editor at the French broadcaster LCI.
She says his appeal is simple.
"He was a lawyer, so he seems close to the people, and he wants to show them that he understands their problems and that he will solve their problems."

Yes I know of Nicolas Sarkozy.
I like France very much and visit regularly.
I have worked with the French in overseas projects (Sofralec), Saudi Arabia, Libya, and we got on very well together and became good friends.
Do not listen to the stupid remarks about the English and French relations it is not true.
Lots of French live in England and vice verca and many intermarry.

No. i'm afraid which you're blending up Christian ideals with Jewish ideals. What some Christians have faith approximately Jesus has *no longer something* to do with Jewish ideals approximately OUR maschiach. And Sarkozy isn't Jewish. only with the aid of fact he had some Jewish family members contributors, way some time past, does no longer mean he's Jewish - till you're utilizing the comparable standards as HITLER to define 'jewish' and that i'm specific you're actually not....! And, returned: there is not any 'messianic' team IN Judaism. no longer A single ONE. The Messianic flow is Christian. only, fully, CHRISTIAN.

He's a French politician, head of the UMP which is the French equivilent to the Conservatives. He is noted for his charisma and Sarkozy has said that his father's abandonment shaped much of what he is today.

I've heard of him and I know what his policies are.
I think France is a great and beautiful country but sometimes French people give the impression of not wanting anything to do with foreigners, especially English people
