According to manafacturer recommendation, the 1st oil change is at 1000km. 2nd oil change is at 5000km. 3rd oil change is at 10000km. Subsequent oil change at 10000km interval provided you use fully synthetic engine oil. For the 1st 3 oil change, mineral oil is recommended because mineral oil lasts for 5000km, semi synthetic oil last for 7000km while fully synthetic oil last for 10000km. Enjoy your ride! Refer to your dealer if you have any doubts. It is their obligation to provide after sales services.

You can do your oil at 5000 mi if yu want, the first change is important because the manufacture puts a special "break in " oil in at the factory. This oil is designed to catch the bits of fragments that the engine is gonna naturally shave off while it's breaking in for the first time. I would go about 7500 mi on the first one. Remember to also rotate your tires at the same time, they should be done around every 7000 mi.

song and one million/4 mile: GTI. GTI has 200lbs of torque at 4000 RPM. TSX has 118-130lbs of torque at 5000-6000 RPM. via the time the TSX reaches its height torque and VTEC kicks in, it is going to likely be all long too overdue.
