To be honest, take the list of coins to either a coin dealer, hobby dealer, etc. and see what they have to say. Also you can go to any major bookstore and look in the hobbies section for a coin value book. (Barnes and Nobles has one called Warmans U.S. Coins and Currency Field Guide for $13.00)
Coins are divided by type, years made, etc. Also if you happen to live in an area with more then one dealer, shop around. One store may be looking for a specific coin and may offer more.

With 24 Franklin half dollars it seems odd that you have not listed a few with mint marks. The mint mark is located at the top of the bell under the letter E in states.A 1952-S dealer bid is $24.00 in almost uncirculated grade but a 1952 no mint mark is only Worth $5.00 in that grade. Grade is important and unless in at least very fine, but higher better, they are worth only 7 to 8 times face for their silver. A very fine: At least half of the incused lines on the rim of the liberty bell must show. That is the lines above the clapper on the bell. The more lines or complete lines the better. I need to know what the mint marks are and if they are at least very fine or better, to be able to answer your question with any accuracy

check on a large on-line auction house. you will get a good idea of the grade from what others sell. be sure to check for the mint mark. if you sell them, do it on the on-line auction house so you eliminate the middle man. sell them 1 per auction and don't combine shipping. this way you make a little extra and pay for the auction fees. allot of folks charge $3.00 to ship and higher, but one half dollar is only .64 cents to ship. all you need is a scanner and your in the coin business.

The value of coins depends a great deal on their condition. If they are uncirculated (no signs of wear) they are worth a lot more than if they are worn.
