"Earth" is the name the inhabitants of the third Solar planet call their world. This word is an ancient one, and is in English. All the logical paths that lead to a planet's name require the conclusion that no other planet could have this exact name.

now it wouldn't necessarily be another earth, but it would be a another planet that contains oxygen. see, the universe contains many galaxies and the one we live in contains the nine planets, sun, moon, stars, and etc (solar system) that we are familiar with. in one of the universe's other galaxies could contain another solar system with a planet that contains oxygen. this is if you aren't the spiritual type...get what i'm sayin?
