Hey brother I'm back, many of my latest questions have been removed already.
Progress in Iraq!? The Quagmire in Iraq is indicitve of the complete and utter failure that is the criminal bush administration. Many senseless deaths all around under the guise of fighting terrorism, it's obscene. There has been no progress at all under BUSHCO's reign of terror and only the "thickest" of NEOCONS still support him. It will take a little while for our newly elected friends to pull us out but it will happen.

Could be, though it is heart-wrenching. Iraq may undergo a cultural shift away from factionalism and towards nationalism, but not fast. Its security forces may come online, but military and paramilitary forces are run by experienced NCO's, and they don't grow on trees.
I grew up in the deep south (U.S.) in the 50's and 60's. Major cultural shifts do occur. It just takes time. A liberal democratic Iraq would be such a stabilizing force in that area of the world that extreme risks must be considered.
A major chunk of Iraqis may yet get tired of bombs and rockets from Syria and Iran going off in their neighborhoods.

Iraq is simply a land of ignorant, uneducated savages. The world should leave them to settle there own problems. If it weren't for oil, then Iraq would be as important to the world as Darfur. Maybe the best thing for the rest of the world is an Iraqi civil war that goes on long enough to wipe out everyone there. It really is the only way savages will stop being savages.

This is the Bush Doctrine, Attack and Plunder. For Bush things are going exactly as planned. Destabilization serves him well as oil goes up, weapons sales go up, bank profits go up, while Halliburton, Cheney's company, rakes in billions every year from no bid contracts with the Bush Administration. Deaths mean nothing as they are viewed as abstractions and therefore not real. Nice people eh?

It's unbearably awful. What a mess this administration has created!!! Here in America, the news is so strange......the people are frightened. Many react hatefully, some are in complete denial (intelligent folk, too), while some of us speak up whenever we can.
What can we do???
