If your monitor resolution is 1024 x 768, then your have 768K pixels on your monitor screen.

If you are going to manipulate pixels of an image you can use a image processing library like OpenCV(open source/free from intel).
You can do stuff like getting the value of pixel and do what ever you want with it.
I suggest u modify ur question so that we can understand what u mean better

Your question makes no sense at all. A pixel is a "thing", not a number, so it cannot be calculated. You might as ask how to calculate a turnip...

not a good and clear question.
if you want to calculate pixels of your monitor:
right click on desktop,choose "Properties"
on the "Setting" tab ,screen resolution>
multiply your resolution width*height

///if your screen resolution is 1280 by 800 pixel
1280*800 is number of pixels
