Depends where in the world you happen to live, and when your summer is....the English season lasts from late April to early September, while the Australian season lasts from mid October to late March.

International cricket continues all year round, as it is always summer somewhere in the world.

The English cricket season is generally from April through to September. Not sure about other countries.

well there is no season kinda thing for cricket ... its an all year round sport whos rules are governed by ICC (international cricket council) ... they have some ground rules that decide how many matches one team can play in one year ... like for eg a team has to play a test series with all the other test playing nations within 5 years time ... cricket has a world cup in every four years gap ... so basically each country keeps playing some cricket every now and then and its not some baseball or basketball or even formula 1 kinda deal ...

It's always in season somewhere in the world - the players travel to where the sun is shining. Similar with Rugby U.
