The most important change would be with the weather, for example California would have more rainfall but the east would have substantially less. This would also cause a shift in the ocean currents and the vast rivers under the oceans could be reversed causing further climatic change.

The earth turns as quickly as in each and each 24 hours and has a circumference of 24000miles,so those human beings and all gadgets (at the same time with seas and so on)might proceed moving at that velocity(one thousand mph on the equator and 0 mph on the poles:no longer rapid adequate for orbit yet painfull bruising and propery harm is in all threat(VERY).bear in mind that human beings in an analogous section might all return and forth at comparable velocity so might think of that the earth replaced into movig backwards.on the poles there could be no result until the waves and winds attain from the equatorial and medium latitudes ,at which era issues gets nasty.those people who do no longer word all this yet who stay long adequate will word finally that the day or night lasts for 6 or 3 hundred and sixty 5 days(relies upon on whether earth rotates as quickly as consistent with three hundred and sixty 5 days or is non-rotational relative to distant stars.

When it slows to a stop, just before it starts to turn the other way, the earth's magnetic field will temporarily cease to exist and a lot of solar radiation will get through everywhere where it is daytime, giving a lot of people a really quick suntan, nausea and vomitting.

Actually that will happen in future but through millions of years, i.e. very slowly. People will not feel any change but of course climatic change will be there. Scientists found that North pole and South pole are changing there location.

it would just change the direction of what we see: east and west and maybe north and south would be exchanged. that's it.
But nothing will "happen" (how stupid!). We cannot suddenly just turn the other way around ... if so, we would do so already forever, therefore no sudden changes are about to happen. Your question in that sense is absolutely unreal.

Well apart from what you mentioned I can't see much of a change really. I don't know if plate tectonics are regulated or move the way they do because of the direction of the spin.

i dont think anything would happen 2 be honest - I cant think of any reason why it would, just the sum would go in the opposite direction.

Of course if the earth, suddenyl stopped and than reversed most of us would go flying out into outer speace. Wouldnt that be fun?
