Its a fobia where he has a issue with Germs. Like jack Nicholson doesn't eat with flatware from res truants he brings his own with him every time. Plastic flatware that is in plastic. the guy is like monk, but not to that extent.

He probably does not know where people's hands have been. I have seen co-workers not wash their hands after coming out of the poop stall. Many more don't wash after urinating. Unbelievable but true. Would you want to shake those guys' hands? Women tell me that there are women who do the same thing. Maybe we can see Howie's point.

Howie Mandel has admitted in the past that he suffers from OCD. There was actually a tv interview/profile about him and another famous game host , Marc Summers from Nickelodeon's Double Dare, about the disorder and the people who suffer from it. Soo, he isn't trying to be rude or a snobby celeb.

I didn't watch his segment because I was expecting The Office and realized it was 2 hours worth of Deal or No Deal.

Sad, he's just sad.
Entertainers have to be careful when they cross over to hosting a game show, it's gonna not stay on for long. He doesn't suit it, that is with the guests, he should do a talk show.

Who knows. When he was a fuzzy-haired comedian he didn't have that problem, but since he has reinvented himself he has become a bald germaphobe.
