I wish you had asked me this 18 months ago, because now I am in a wheelchair for a while. Yes, I do walk to observe the scenery, as well as to reflect on how I perceive these things. Yes, I also walk to improve my physical fitness and to be closer to nature. Sometimes I just walk and think.

Have you ever heard or practiced the ancient art called a Buddhist Straight Walk? Distance is unimportant. It is awareness to the degree of lifting one foot, finding the point where weight shifts from one foot to the other as the foot ascends. THEN observe. This process can change your visual perception level. Try it, aware also of your breath and keep focus around you. SEE.

I generally walk because I consider the use of a car lazy for anything you can walk to within 45 minutes.

I would be disappointed with myself if I gave into that temptation.

In dreams, anytime someone is found "walking" it is a sign that one is simply reminiscent of incidents in their lives...A reflection of what is......

Walking gives one the opportunity to reflect on circumstances in life and to clear out thoughts.... Think things through......

To reflect on life and let nature engulf the senses is truely relaxing......
