Mine are red at the min, but when red chips it looks awful.
Pearl lasts agaes and doesnt look as bad if you get a chip, but its boring!

french manicures are classic and you won't have to worry about it not matching with your outfit, etc.
i love a deep red or rouge noir for evenings, but might look a little much for daytime esp if you work in a conservative type of job.
right now i have a metallic pink one - its glossy and shiny and from certain angles it has a silver/green sheen. it matches with most things I wear. ialso got nail art done on my thumb and ring fingernail, just a little daisy - i work in a conservative office so nail art on all fingers would look "frivolous" but a little daisy is not so noticeable and makes me smile when i see it.

well in england right now... all the magazines are saying "dark vampy colors" are THE colours to have.
However... if you are not too happy about the idea of black nails, try a dark plum-purple. That looks so cute ^^
And if you are worried about chipping, just get some clear overcoat polish. Makes it last much longer... then when it starts to chip you know its time to re-paint.

I think french polished nails look lovely.
Apparently ,according to Now magazine ,only red or black will be the" in" thing this year,i agree with you though they look tacky when they are chipped.

The natural colour is the best because it doesn't cost you a cent and saves you time, and there's no chips, and it's not boring, and
have a nice day.

Natural might be boring, but it's nice. Girls who put all different colours on look like they have nothing better to do with their time. Well kept and shaped natural looking nails do it for me every time.

I like the dark colours like burgandys and dark purples and i think they look better on too. I agree though, once they chip they look bad

A french manicure always looks good, but don't have your nails too long, and don't use false ones, they'll ruin your natural nail.

black, and invest in some decent expensive polish that lasts longer and always apply a base coat and a top coat to protect your nail from staining and your polish from chipping.

I dont like the rusty type , I prefer new shiney steel ones, 1 and a half inch are good. But you cant beat a good woodscrew :-)
